You are the king’s cleaner, during your cleaning your eyes are drawn to a beautiful drawing on his mirror. While retrieving it, you accidentally break the mirror and find yourself imprisoned. Though he is obsessed with his own beauty, his palace is heavily guarded by not guards, but prisms puzzles?

Carts:

Use the carts by moving them into light, some carts will reflect the light. Use other carts to catch this light and shoot it at the beams. 

Messed something up?

Just enter back from where you came from or fall into the black void at the top (not middle) to reset the carts.

Stuck in the intro? 

Walk NEXT to the mirror of the king, not at it. The dialogue should appear once you walk far enough up to him.

The carts are stuck

Reset the carts by entering an open door or fall into the black square / void
